Why , after 7 1/2 years , a bleeding vessel , in Sydney , and 3 months in a hospital , and hospital said a nursing home , so I moved to Melbourne after 4 months in hospital , Stroke clinics in Melbourne and Footscray refused to take me and no physio then , and now the Neuro surgeon wants to se me after 7 1/2 years , is that normal practice in Melbourne ! Just a bit weary after all this time .
I don't know what is the 'norm' these days Garry and it doesn't sound like you've had much support either. You have done well for not seeing a neurosurgeon in over 7 & 1/2 yrs. My curiosity would get the better of me and would see why and what they had to say? BUT upto you.. Good luck!

There could be a variety of reasons why the Neurosurgeon may wish to review you. Given they have reached out, we would highly recommend engaging with them to find out why they would like to see you. We would also encourage you to write down any questions you may have to take them along to your appointment as this will be a great opportunity to potentially get answers to any questions you may have.
