I know we are supposed to be all positive and glad to survive a stroke but my life has become a living hell in the three months since I was discharged from hospital.
From lack of information to roadblocks at every turn, debilitating fatigue, constant pain & headaches and now having to discontinue my physiotherapy and decline follow up stroke pathway tests and monitoring because I can't afford them and am not eligible for any assistance I find myself wishing I hadn't called for medical assistance when I had my stroke. It's been a nightmare from the outset.
Now Centrelink have decided I have to resume jobsearch even though I have a Medical Certificate from my GP which says I am unable to work.
I have other medical conditions including Occipital Neuralgia, Osteoarthritis and a liver issue which is currently being investigated.
