Mom weak after stroke

I'm wondering from the link in your forum if you are in the U.S.? In Australia, needing an aged care home for a year would be considered a permanent move, but if your circumstances change and you are able have your mum home again, you could. I suspect the same would be true overseas, but otherwise the systems are often very different.
