Hi all,
My mum recently had a stroke and it got me thinking about her future. In particular, what her wishes would be at the end of her life if she got to the point of not being able to communicate them. It got me thinking that I wasn't 100% sure on these and it would be worth discussing this further with her (luckily she is still able to communicate after her stroke).
I stumbled across this event in the online seniors event calendar and I wanted to share it with all of you, as it seems really relevant for stroke victims and their families/carers.
Check it out here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/unspoken-what-will-become-of-me-registration-27165850791.
I've booked myself in for me and my mum and I'm hoping it'll help us understand planning for the future better and how we can do this in the way that best respects mums wishes.
