Fatigue has come back

Hi Meri,

Lots of people experience the coming and going of fatigue. It's a personal experience how we all recover differently, but yes fatigue is something to monitor.

There's quite a few blogs and forums about how people manage.

I found making room for a good night's sleep helped.

Hi Meri, yes fatigue - in my case, from daily naps to none! It takes time. What helped me was to embrace fatigue as my brain telling me it needs a rest. I guess it is the brain recovering. What I found good is any form of physical activity - increase in blood circulation, hence more blood to our brain. A simple walk in the park will do it!

Yes I need to embrace it too and listen to my body as sometimes I get caught up in what I am doing and looking after 3 kids that I forget to stop and by that stage, I've over done it.  I need to slow down again (as I'm doing now) and recharge every now and then.  I will try the walk, as you suggest, coz usually when I'm feeling like this, I choose not to exercise so I don't over do it.  But your logic makes sense.  Thank you! 

Dear Meri, I'm finding that as  my fatigue subsides I start to attempt more (and expect more) and then experience fatigue again. Always trying to walk that line. Stay gentle and strong.

Yes, I think the same thing is happening with me.  I push myself more and then get disappointed that I don't have the same stamina I used to.
