The Australian Government will provide 10 additional Medicare-subsidised psychological therapy sessions for people experiencing further restrictions in areas impacted by the second wave of COVID-19.
The additional sessions will allow people in eligible areas who have used their 10 sessions to continue to receive mental health care.
This is for people who live in states or territories with restricted movement, and people who are required to isolate or quarantine.
Speak with your GP or psychological therapy provider. Remember too that telephone and online support services have been boosted across Australia - help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
