A photo of a canvas which I created by melting crayons with a hair dryer after turning the canvas upside down. I then dabbed green crayon onto the brown to make my "crayon forest"
Sue, I love it, but, of course, I love anything that deals with forests or trees - 'forest bathing'!
Is this something you did for your recovery, or this is a new form of therapy, exploring different styles of art? I have never been good at art, yet, I love photography. Recently, I am trying to find more shots of texture, shadows with small points of light, and be less dark moody shots.
I definitely believe that art should be part of any stroke survivors' recovery program. Photography has helped me so much through the thick bush in my journey. I hope others use art, not as a way of fill time, but a way to connect their feelings, hopes, or fears without being judged.
Like this tree, we need to be tough, strong, tall and prepared to bent with the wind, and have long and enjoyable lives.

Crayon canvas's became a 'thing' I made with our kids, and yes anything I have done creatively I would have to say has been a part of my long term recovery/healing process.

I lied: I have more than one bench. An hour near my home.
Today is sunny but very windy and cold, but I am not complaining, I am just living in the moment.
I do love black and white photography, the shadow that your bench creates Marcus is very effective in your photo.
My photo today is taken from a walk around the river I take . The sound of water over these rocks is always refreshing..
