Hi everyone,
I'm curious to know for those who had paralysis after their stroke, and now have regained mobility, how long after your stroke did this take?
Thanks xx

Meri I was in hospital for three months with total paralyses to my left side. At six weeks my left thumb moved. A very exciting time that gave me hope. Physios were equally happy. Gradually over time my foot moved. Learning to walk has been my biggest challenge. Meri remember every stroke is different . Recovery does’nt come with a date. At 6 years post stroke I am still fighting issues. Seems to never end. Cheers Jenny
Hi Meri,
Great question to ask here on EnableMe.
Everybody's experience is so different.
Yes I had to learn to walk and talk again.
How long did this take? A long time.
Maybe give Strokeline a call to talk with them about some of the examples of people's experiences..
