Weight Loss Surgery After Strokes?
Hi everyone
just wondering if there is anyone out there who has suffered strokes and has gone on to have weight loss surgery. I have multiple health issues and am booked to have a gastric bypass, 8 weeks ago though I suffered 2 very small strokes from blood clots in my neck. The clots are now clear but I am only 3 months away from surgery date. I am very lucky my strokes occurred in Emergancy in hospital so I suffered minimal issues from the strokes, physically I am pretty much back to normal and I only have some issues with tiredness, concentration and moodiness. This surgery is a huge deal and a way to help me regain my health after having blood clots on my lungs 2 years ago after having my daughter also. Anyone been through anything similar or undergone surgery after strokes for non stroke related issues?
