The Stroke Foundation’s StrokeLine service is operating as normal.
StrokeLine is free, confidential and independent. StrokeLine’s health professionals include occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, social workers and nurses. Between us, we have many decades of stroke experience.
Our practical advice can help you manage anything that’s going on for you right now. Our team can help you to find the support and services you need, whether you are a stroke survivor, carer or family member.
There are lots of ways to connect with us, so choose what works for you.

At the moment we’re getting lots of calls about the implications of COVID 19 for stroke survivors and families. People are contacting us when a loved one is in hospital, when they have just gotten home, or when things are changing at home.
We’ve been able to give people advice about what’s changing and what new things are in place to make things work better for people. We’ve been providing advice on how to make the health and community care system work for you as best you can.
We’re here to help all stroke survivors and anyone who supports them - partners, family, friends, carers. Please share this with anyone you think we may be able to help.
