Has anyone with the use of one functional arm been able to use a digital SLR camera to take photos? Did you need to buy equipment to assist in doing so or did you find a course to assist in tips on how to do so?
Looking for any advice or experience in using a digital SLR camera to take photos please

Yes no problem , just hold it in one hand , in the left hand you are holding it upside down but it doesn't matter about the actual photo appears that way and you can turn the picture around , with a film camera it is nearly impossible to use but the digital are easy . Just remeber the photo orientation .
hi guys i may be able to help here, i used to be a photographer, and i still sort of keep it up but now im using a mirrorless M43 camera instead of a full size dslr, i went for the panasonic G97 and its a lovely system, am more than happy to assist anyone if they want advice on photography
Easy as long as your sight is undamaged , a film on is impossible to use one handed .
