Besides magnesium deficiency, what else can cause neck and shoulder tremors to appear 8 years after a minor stroke? Can I take 3 magnesium tablets per day?

1 ResponsesI have neck and shoulder tremors. My doctor suggested a high dose Magnesium tablet (Blackmore's MagMin) and I should see him again in 30 days if this doesn't work. The magnesium helped a little, but the tremors are still there especially in the afternoon. I spoke to pharmasist who suggested taking 2 tablets a day; 1 in morning and 1 at night. This also helped and tremors are greatly reduced in the mornings. Tremors make working at computer uncomfortable and increase the shaking in my right hand. Only time they stop is when I sit in my arm chair and rest my neck against a small support pillow I made. I had to give up driving last year because of the leg shakes, now these neck shakes are stealing my art and sewing hobbies from me.
