I suffered a cavernoma ( bleed in the brain stem ) and it's time that is the only healer as much as it sucks

Unfortunately according to the Australian Red Cross website, stroke survivors are not able to donate blood. You can read more here:

I was a blood donor and it didn't cross my mind I wouldn't be able to continue after the stroke. I have, however, "enlisted" two other people to blood donating and they go regularly.

I had a bleed too, and time is the only healer for me as well. Along with movement, exercise, eating well, getting sufficient rest, acceptance and attitude, etc. One has to work at it.

I was a blood donor by that is no more, I can't donate blood simply because I'm now on Blood thinners :(
