Generally if they have no pain they still need to support the limb I suggest either Estim daily to supraspinatus posterior deltoid ,With active attempted shoulder extension and elevation .For 2 15 minute sessions Iif they use a collar and cuff they often end up with shoulder impingement.Some do well just teaching them to tape the humeral head to support it.
