Hi David
Thanks for reaching out on Enableme.
It must be very frustrating for you, trying to establish what may be causing these ongoing issues.
Neurological conditions can affect your eyes and vision and have a big impact on your daily life.
Your eyes receive visual information, but it’s actually your brain that interprets the information and allows you to ‘see’ the image.
Your brain also controls your eye movements and focus.
If you have already spoken to your GP or Neurologist about this, it may be worth considering seeing a Neuro ophthalmologist.
A neuro-ophthalmologist performs comprehensive examinations to diagnose and treat a range of conditions that can affect the brain and nervous system.
Have a chat to your GP to see if this option may be worth exploring to try to get to the bottom of your eye movement and flickering.
We would be more than happy to talk with you further if you need any more help on 1800 787 653, or email us on strokeline@strokefoundation.org.au. We are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm AEST and would be more than happy to talk with you
Regards
Alicia
