Hi Jim,
Thank you for posting. I’m sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing. It certainly sounds like there are still some unanswered questions.
It is usual for brain scans to be ‘clear’ with a TIA, as it is a momentary interruption of blood supply to the brain, rather than permanent (as with a stroke).
Some of the symptoms you describe can be consistent with a TIA however TIA symptoms resolve within 24 hours, however they are ongoing in your case. The symptoms can also be brought on by other causes. Has your GP referred you to a neurologist? Have they investigated whether the low B12 levels are playing a part? It would also be worth asking your GP whether these are side-effects of any medication you may be taking.
Hopefully you get answers soon. The first step is finding out why these symptoms are occuring, then your GP can suggest the best management plan for you and also discuss whether it is safe for you to travel.
If you notice a sudden onset of sensation changes or sudden severe headaches, please call 000 straight away as these can be a sign of a stroke.
Please feel free to call in if you’d like to chat further (StrokeLine - 1800 787 653),
Best Wishes,

Hi Lisa and thanks.
The Doc found the B12 problem and had 2 injection twice a week for 3 weeks and then full blood test 6 March, covering all. Nothing come back to me so think all OK.
The tingling still happens but seldom now. However, I suddenly fill ill, and right eye dilates need to sit still for a while till it passes. This can happen 2 or 3 times a day.
Seen Nueoligist twice early in the piece and they did not find a thing and did not request to see me again. My Doc has refered me to General Medical Clinic in Nambour Qld 3 March but not heard from them.
Guess thats it just sit back and enjoy. Sorry for taking up your time when so many others have real problems where as I am just frustrated. Regardless I am not going to sit around but off to see my grand daughters up north in 2 weeks.
You have a great day and win the lotto.
Cheers
Jim
