Hi. I had a stroke on April 30th 2018. I am doing good physically but I am really struggling mentallly. I am seeing a therapist now that is trying to help me overcome my fear of recurrence of another stroke. However, last Friday I had a ct angiogram done that showed no cholesterol build up in my neck but showed a 1.00mm spot in my brain. My neurologist said that they are not sure if it's the tail end of an artery or an aneurysm. So they are going with aneurysm for now because they want to monitor it. Does this mean my risk for another stroke is now increased? I am very worried now.

The American Stroke Association however has a lot more information concerning cerebral aneurysms.

The information appears to indicate that not all diagnosis lead to a stroke but it is always best to confirm this with your neurologist or with your GP.
