Hi Im seven weeks post stroke and I had a craniotomy and a piece of skull removed. my question is with the missing skull and the scare can I dye my hair ? Can this be harmful to me ?

It would be best to speak to your specialist regarding when it would be safe for you to get your hair coloured.

As the piece of skull hasn’t been replaced yet, hair colouring may potentially pose risks of infection or compromise healing.

Recovery and healing is very individual.

Be sure to ask about any alternative options that you could use in the meantime,  and when you will be able to resume hair colouring in the future.
