How does having a stroke affect later pregnancies?

I am 32 and 10 weeks pregnant with my third child, two and a half years after having a stroke. There is very little information out there about pregnancy after stroke and I'm interested to hear other people's experiences or knowledge.

Hi,

We would strongly recommend speaking to your Obstetrician about how any current stroke risk factors should be managed during pregnancy and child birth. Your Obstetrician may also deem it appropriate to refer you back to a neurologist for further assessment and monitoring.

The FAST Parenting After Stroke Facebook group may be also be able to provide you with some support.
