Firstly, we are sorry to hear about your stroke but pleased to hear it has mostly healed.
As our Strokeline team is made up of allied health and nursing professionals, we are unable to assess the risk level if you were to deliver another baby; this requires more specialised and individualised assessment than we can offer being a non-medical team. We highly recommend that such a multifaceted decision-making process be guided by your Neurologist and Obstetrician, as tailored advice would be most appropriate. These specialists will be able to review your full medical history, the circumstances around your arterial dissection, and ultimately any risks which may be associated with your pursuit to add to your family.
