Recovery after stroke is a complex and individual process, with no single timeline or solution that applies to everyone.
Are the sensations of feeling “heavy” on your left side, as well as the numbness in the roof of your mouth + loose teeth, NEW? Or have you had these symptoms since your stroke?
If they are new, I encourage you to seek medical attention promptly and discuss with your doctor for further investigation and review. They may be all related to one issue, a residual of stroke, or separate medical issues and this is hard to determine without proper medical review.
It is important to clarify with your doctor whether this is something he can confidently manage or whether he thinks the stroke doctor/ neurologist needs to review further. It is also helpful to clarify if these symptoms would be considered residual symptoms of stroke and therefore something to be expected as you recover.
