Thank-you for reaching out to us. I’m sorry to hear that you have been experiencing pain and discomfort over the past few days.
It sounds like you have made some good recovery following your stroke in 2014. Once you have achieved recovery following a stroke, the improvements are usually maintained. Significant medical changes such as new pain experienced should be investigated.
Given that the pain you have been experiencing is new and started a few days ago, I would strongly recommend that you make some time to see a doctor as soon as possible. Your local general practitioner will be able to look at your individual medical history, have a chat to you about your symptoms and provide recommendations on what they think may be contributing to your headaches. If you require input from a medical specialist, your local GP is in an excellent position guide you in the right direction.
If you are experiencing F.A.S.T symptoms https://strokefoundation.org.au/About-Stroke/Stroke-symptoms call 000 immediately.
