1 ResponsesThe cause of my stroke is unclear, but may have been due to vasospasm. I am having therapy through a speech pathologist for mild aphasia.

Our pain after stroke fact sheet does state that steroid injections are sometime used for shoulder pain.
We do recommend that you get personalised medical advice; talk to your rheumatologist to make sure they are aware of your medical history and all other medications you are currently taking. If you still have concerns, get in touch with your neurologist and discuss the injections with them.
