Hi Annie,
Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear about your stroke. It is wonderful to hear that you were able to access immediate treatment and have recovered well.
Fatigue can be common after stroke and may present as tiredness and low energy like you’re experiencing. Our fatigue after stroke fact sheet highlights helpful strategies to manage fatigue such as balancing activity, rest, diet and sleep. The EnableMe fatigue page also has a podcast that you may like to listen to.
It’s great to hear that you feel well supported by your existing physio and psychologist. If you don't feel the day rehabilitation centre is required have a chat to the team there about it. Many stroke survivors comment that taking all the help you can get initially is beneficial and you can always scale it back over time as you adjust to life after stroke and being at home. Sometimes that additional support early on can be helpful but it is your decision if you feel supported enough with your previous services. You might also like to read more about recovery on our rehabilitation page.
