I'm interested in making contact with other parents who are carers for their child that has had a stroke. (Fraser Coast - South-East QLD region). Any other parents out there?

The FAST Parenting After Stroke Facebook group may be able to link you in with other parents in your area.

StrokeKidz is a Melbourne based group that offers support to children and families affected by stroke, they have some useful resources and information on their website and are often willing to support parents from other states.

Our Childhood Stroke booklet might be useful. 

Finally, Carers Queensland may be able to offer you some support. The Carers Australia number is 1800 242 636.
