I would like to know if I should be concerned with weakness right hand.

Hi I am a 54 year old woman and had a stroke 3 months ago. It left me with left facial weakness which is almost resolved. I was at my sisters house helping with cutting up vegetables for about an hour and the next day experienced numbness in my right hand. Should I be concerned about this? Will it get any worse?

I'm sorry to hear about your stroke.

Just to confirm, did the numbness only begin recently? or was it present at the time of your stroke 3 months ago?

Weakness and /or numbness in the hand can be a sign of stroke.

If you are experiencing new or more severe symptoms since your stroke 3 months ago, I would strongly recommend seeking medical attention immediately.
