Vision difficulties are a common result of stroke, however if the visual difficulties that you are experiencing are new, or have gotten worse since your stroke, I would strongly recommend seeking medical attention. It is unlikely that they are related to your stroke 28 years ago.
New vision changes may be a sign of another stroke or another form of vision disorder or eye infection. Your GP may refer you to an optometrist for further assessment.
