Hi there,

Thank you for your enquiry.

It is always best to get medical clearance for complimentary therapies like massage and acupuncture as your mum's doctors will know her full medical history and if there are any risks involved. It is case by case and for most stroke survivors it is usually ok but we definitely advise checking with her doctor before going ahead.
