Thanks for reaching out to the Stroke Foundation.
I am sorry to hear about your stroke, and your diagnosis of diplopia
Hi Damian
I know your post is old but I had a hemorrhagic stroke and as a result one of my deficits is diplopia.
It is very hard to live with but something I have adjusted to more as time goes by. It will never feel normal and sometimes it is terrible but I am more used to the abnormality now, does that make sense.
LJ
LJ, how long since you had your stroke? Are you still working?
I had my stroke in Oct 2019.
I was medically retired from work as a direct result of the stroke and the impairments I was left with.
I have however, managed to get myself to a point where I work as a casual one per week.
