Hi,
Being a carer for someone who has had a stroke can be challenging. We have a range of resources on caring for someone after a stroke on enableme.
My Aged Care also have some useful information on respite.

The new Carer Gateway is also a wonderful source of support and information for carers as well as Carers Australia. If you are after short term respite during the day you can access support via the local council or if over 65 years via an Aged Care Assessment. If you’re requiring urgent respite you can also contact Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre on 1800 052 222.
