How do I manage seizures after stroke?

Unfortunately, stroke survivors are at increased risk of developing seizures, particularly if the stroke is severe or a bleed.
Stroke related seizures can generally be controlled with anti-seizure medications. Your mum’s neurology team will be able to advise you on the most appropriate medication and ongoing management plan for her. Here is a link to information about stroke related seizures: Seizures and Epilepsy
