Hi
We are so sorry to hear about your daughter having bilateral strokes. What a challenging time for you all. Unfortunately we can’t comment on someone’s medical stability, however we would be very happy to chat over the phone to obtain more background to your daughter’s situation so we know how to best help.
Have you requested a family meeting to discuss your concerns or met with a Hospital Patient Liaison Officer?
We are a little unsure, is your daughter still in hospital or rehab but they are saying she isn’t fit for rehab but could go home?
What state are you in?
Is there a physiotherapist, speech pathologist or occupational therapist treating your daughter that you could chat to? They could advise you on what exercises or activities are safe for your daughter to participate in currently?
Here is information on Childhood Stroke and our Childhood Stroke booklet.

Unstable due to her aplastic anemia, which I feel is a cop out. pmh have moved her to a care home even further away from us as the local hospital refused.1 now it's so far I cannot make it every day to visit. They said it would do her good being moved there. We protested but they were not interested. She has been rushed back by ambulance 3 time in 1 week there is no care level just want to rush her out the door. We have applied to a communist based provider.
