The dementia Australia website provides insightful information on understanding dementia. Stroke is mentioned under “Multi-infarct dementia” on the web page on vascular dementia. The website also outlines the different types of dementia to clarify the differences and provides further information on the causes of dementia.
They also have a National helpline you can call on 1800 100 500.
