Development of a core outcome set for clinical research on interventions for speech impairments in stroke

This study aims to gain consensus around what aspects of speech recovery after stroke are important to measure.

The research team are looking for participants including:

  • survivors of stroke who have had or still have dysarthria, and who live in the UK or Australia
  • researchers and clinicians (mainly speech and language therapists) who have experienced (or worked with people who have experienced) dysarthria after stroke.

Participation involves two online surveys a couple of months apart, each of which will last about 30–45 minutes. You will also be asked to join either of two online (Zoom) meetings that will last one hour each.
