About this group: 

At a Stroke Recovery Club meeting you will:

• meet with others who have ‘been there’
• share experiences
• learn from educational speakers
• keep up to date with stroke research
• attend social outings
• receive emotional support from other members
• receive invitations to events arranged by the Stroke Recovery Association (SRA)
• receive regular SRA newsletters
• enjoy a cup of tea together.

The Northern Rivers Stroke support group (NRG) began meeting in 2022, with Stroke survivors and carers joining together to form social connections and share their stories.

NRG meet in the Bingo room at Club Tweed (Cnr Whard and Florence Street, Tweed Heads) on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
