The Browns Plains Stroke group started in 2008 with three wives of stroke survivors. In 2016, members of the Browns Plains group joined together with those in the Beenleigh group to create a combined membership providing support to survivors in the Logan and Scenic Rim council areas.
Over the years with everyone helping where they can the group members have enjoyed getting together for social activities, passing on the latest information on rehabilitation products, health care needs, changes to services and enjoying time to talk and support each other with life’s changes and challenges.
The group is very informal so please feel free to join us at any time especially if you are travelling around Australia.
Combined stroke group meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month, 10 am to 12 noon, at 32 Wharf Street, Logan Village.
Meetings are open to all stroke survivors, family and friends also those who may have had a head injury.
