How do I make the website easier to read?
To make the website easier to read you can update your Accessibility settings. The Accessibility settings allow you to:
- display content in easy English or standard English.
- Increase font size
- change to high contrast.
To edit your accessibility settings:
- Click on your + Make accessible at the top of the page.
- Your accessibility options will appear.
- Click on Edit my Profile.
- Scroll down to the option that you would like to change.
- Click on one of the three options:
- Easy English - presents web pages in simple language where possible. This means shorter words and sentences. It also makes the text size bigger to help you read.
- Standard English - presents web pages in more complex and detailed language. Text size will not change. You can always switch to Easy English later.
- Pick and choose your accessibility settings - allows you to change the alignment of text, add underlines to the start and end of lines of text, turn on high contrast colours and highlight links.
Hint: If you select Easy English or Standard English then you cannot Pick and choose your accessibility settings. |
- Click the appropriate button to turn the option on or off.
- Click the Save button when done.

If you have visual field loss it can be helpful to have content displayed in a different part of your screen. - Would you like to view the website in high contrast?
If you have low vision it can be helpful to view websites in different colours. High contrast displays yellow text on a black background.
