Hi Stacey,
Here are some comments from the Facebook community:
Laine Yates Is it possible 4 u 2 organise activities in the mornings & then u can all rest/nap in the Arvos? Do what u can & rest (in front of the tv etc- whatever works)when u can ... it does get a bit easier but having a “schedule” as such will keep u organised & allow u time to rest with little ones. Big love & Best wishes with ur recovery xx
Stacey Kennedy Great advice on here! My youngest was 12 and I found that challenging with fatigue etc. Much more difficult with a 2 year old I would think. Go easy on yourself and rest when you can. It has gotten easier for me but it has taken time.
Tara-Lee Henry Can totally relate ❤️ I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I experienced my stroke with my last born during pregnancy.
I find preparation for the next day helpful, even if I'm tired by the evening it really helps my day run smoothly.
I try to save outings for in the morning and plan to stay home in the afternoons if I can or if we have plans we cannot avoid in the afternoon I stay home for the morning.
On days I exercise it is always in the morning and I feel more energized for it afterwards. Great for mental health well-being too.
Activities we do at home are less physical for me so things like playing with Play-Doh, building blocks, reading, colouring in and everyone always has to help packing up - we have a song we sing which helps motivate them 😆
When I need to manage my fatigue I explain it is time for quiet time, that mummy needs a rest and we all watch a movie.
I wouldn't say I can keep up with them, but I am confident I am making the best of the situation we are in and that's all we can do ❤️❤️

Craig Cooper Improvement is incremental, it sneaks up on you. Keep at it.
Felipe Kunze Garcia Staying fit, having regular breaks, and if sensitive to noise, wear ear protection.. lots of water and healthy diet.
Catherine Griffiths I found going out in the morning with friends to play.
Alanna Crew Rest when you can xx
Lea Neal I haven't had a stroke, but I see how exhausted my mum gets post stroke, and remember well how exhausting my little people were without me having any health issues to contend with!! I found this website AMAZING for activities to keep little people's minds and fingers occupied when my kids were younger. Activities for in the high chair, rest time etc... Note: Some of the activities require discretion as to whether the child is past putting things in their mouths as they involve small manipulatives. https://angathome.com/?s=Toddler+activities&submit=Search
Hope this helps :)
