• Step 1:

  Be able to smoothly strum the guitar.

  • Activity 1:

    Practice strumming regularly.

• Step 2:

  Strum the guitar in time for a whole song.

  • Activity 1:

    Learn a song.

• Step 3:

  Have the endurance and hand/arm skill to play guitar for at least half an hour.

  • Activity 1:

    Start rehearsing with a band

  • Activity 2:

    Practice more songs.

  • Activity 3:

    Rehearse for a gig.

• Step 4:

  Play a gig!

  • Activity 1:

    Rock out!
