Goal:

Get back into Radiation Safety. But this time as a Medical Physicist. Which means I may have to do a course in Master of Medical Physics, or even a PhD in Medical Physics. But first the job!

Time Frame:

6 months

Best Outcome:

Get a job working for a large chain of NSW hospitals as a medical physicist.

Steps and Action Plan:

• Step 1:

  Wait until positions are advertised.

  • Activity 1:

    Check ACPSEM website for advertisements of positions.

• Step 2:

  Apply for appropriate positions at my level.

  • Activity 1:

    Polish resume, find out who to send applications to. Bypass the position advertiser, go for Supervis

• Step 3:

  Prepare for job interviews.

  • Activity 1:

    Look at some exisiting positions and prep for interviews for them. Ask friends in industry.

• Step 4:

  Buy a house this time in Sydney.

  • Activity 1:

    Check Sydney home prices. Want an eastern suburb inner Sydney multi-roomed home for subletting.

• Step 5:

  Build a second story on the house in Melbourne, so I can get more tenants.

  • Activity 1:

    Check builders to select one for a quote.
