Joe's first overseas holiday since his stroke in 2018

This photo celebrates a huge milestone for Joe, and his wife Julia. It is the first overseas holiday that the couple have taken since Joe's stroke in 2018.

Julia says. "I haven’t seen Joe smile this much since before his stroke.

Thanks to all the great support that Joe has received over time - 4 years on from his stroke and clot recovery procedure at Canberra hospital - here we are travelling in Ireland - half way through a 5 week trip - Joe has been walking through galleries and botanic gardens - while walking is still a challenge - this trip is a milestone that seemed out of reach only a short while ago - thanks to lifts in Galleries the occasional extra service at airports and well placed rest spots at attractions we have been having a good trip and Joe has found a whole new lease on life."
