Like all strokes, it is really difficult to predict how much someone will recover. All strokes are different and recovery depends on a number of different factors. Some people recover fully or close to fully, while others may continue to have difficulties in some areas. It is positive to hear that the patient reached the hospital within 1.5 hours, as immediate treatment may minimise long term effects of a stroke.
